There are different kinds of blogging platform these days that you can choose from. Some people prefer Blogger.com just because they want to earn money through Google Adsense and they are more comfortable using it. However, for me and some others, we love WordPress.com! It all depends on the kind of freedom and features that you want to enjoy with your blog that should be the basis of your choice. You can also try opening an account on both platforms and see which one you would like better!

Second Step: Complete Your Profile

Once you’ve chosen your blogging platform, it’s now time to go down to the next step – completing your profile. It’s hard to resist the excitement of starting a post right away once your blog is up and ready but it always helps to start with the most basic thing. Setting up your profile photo and information does not only encourage you to start putting your identity out there but it also helps you become known even before you start your post. I know for sure that there are aspiring bloggers out there that want to think hard on their very first post before they even click the button and for others it may take time to figure out what to say. So the best thing to do is to already have the information and let your viewers or readers get more excited for your very first post!

Third Step: Let Other People Know

If you haven’t made your very first post yet don’t think you can’t spread your blog’s link yet! You definitely can! It’s even a better thing to do so that once you start making your posts, you would immediately have readers who are already awaiting for it. In order to let other people know, of course, it all starts with sharing your link on your social media profiles. In this way, your friends, family and followers will be informed in advance. You can be sure that most of them if not all, are already looking forward to your very first write up!

Fourth Step: Write Your Post

So now we’re moving onto writing your very first post. If you have already written one then you might want to review it before you hit the submit or publish button! It’s always best to make sure that your very first post will be appealing to the readers and viewers of your blog so that they will keep coming back in the future. Put your heart into your writing as they say. Be yourself when you write your post and be as honest as you can be so that people will not see you as someone trying to promote some stuff out there but as someone who is willing to share his or her life with other people. People love it when you are being real!

Fifth Step: Share Your Blog Post’s Link

Sharing isn’t just when you haven’t posted anything yet. It is all the more needed once your first post is up. I know some of you might feel a little too shy to tell other people that you have written something on your blog maybe for the fear of being judged wrongly or even because of the possibility that you might have grammatical errors on your write up – but who cares? It’s your personal blog! It’s your very own world that you are sharing with others! As long as you are being who you are, you are doing just great! So keep your spirit up and share your write up!

Sixth Step: Keep It In Mind

This is the final thing for this post but it’s something that you should keep in mind ALL THE TIME – you can never please everyone! Expect comments of other people that’s clashing to your own opinions or ones that will support your thoughts all the more. As unique individuals, we all have different perceptions about life and everything else. Be prepared to face this in a diplomatic way. Avoid arguing with your readers or followers. Make sure that even if it’s a personal blog, you will stay professional!
